The elder-care and estate-planning law firm of Terri Hilliard will offer a free seminar for seniors, their families and caregivers.

Neurologist Dr. Liliana Cohen will give a presentation titled “Alzheimer’s Research and the New Brain” and Martha Shapiro, director of programs with Senior Concerns, will present “Ahead of the Curve: Expanding the Options for Seniors and Family Caregivers.”

The seminar, which is part of a series on aging, will meet from noon to 1 p.m. on Dec. 13 at the Janet Levett Chamber of Commerce Center, 600 Hampshire Blvd., Suite 202, in Thousand Oaks. A light lunch and beverages will be served.
