Prepared in the kitchens of Senior Concerns and Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center our menus are developed in accordance with nutritional dietary guidelines

Community Groups also provide gifts and surprises for holidays throughout the year as a special touch to all our seniors.

See how our volunteers make a difference!

Wonderful dedicated volunteer drivers include homemakers, business professionals, retirees, students, members of local service organizations, churches and community groups. Although they cover a broad spectrum of ages and backgrounds, Meals on Wheels volunteers share a common goal--to reach out to homebound seniors who are unable to cook for themselves. Volunteers are scheduled to deliver meals once a week or serve as substitute drivers when needed. There’s a special dividend for volunteers and for the seniors they serve: sharing the daily gift of a friendly face, a smile, and caring support.  Learn more about volunteering at Senior Concerns here

To join our dedicated volunteer group contact Stephanie Caffee, Director of Volunteers, at (805) 497-0189 or email her at stephanie@seniorconcerns.org

Adopt a Senior Program

By donating to the Meals on Wheels program, your gift provides nutritious meals delivered by a volunteer’s friendly smile to a homebound senior.

Senior Concerns’ Meals on Wheels program delivers over 47,000 meals to seniors who cannot shop or cook for themselves.  Through the generous support of individuals like you, Senior Concerns never turns anyone away for an inability to pay. This holiday season your gift to our “Adopt A Senior” program can be made in honor of a loved one or as a tribute to a family member or friend.
