Volunteer Drivers

Wonderful dedicated volunteer drivers include homemakers, business professionals, retirees, students, members of local service organizations, churches and community groups. Although they cover a broad spectrum of ages and backgrounds, Meals on Wheels volunteers share a common goal--to reach out to homebound seniors who are unable to cook for themselves. Volunteers are scheduled to deliver meals once a week or serve as substitute drivers when needed. There’s a special dividend for volunteers and for the seniors they serve: sharing the daily gift of a friendly face, a smile, and caring support.  Learn more about volunteering at Senior Concerns here
