Volunteer with Us TODAY and Change Lives!

We could never do what we do in our community without the help of all our amazing volunteers – thank you!

Calling All Volunteers!

At Senior Concerns, we believe every older adult deserves to feel connected, supported, and valued. Our programs are designed to strengthen well-being, foster independence, and enrich the lives of older adults and their caregivers throughout our community.

Volunteers are the heart of this work. Whether youโ€™re delivering a meal, offering companionship, or lending your time behind the scenes, your involvement makes a meaningful difference every single day.

We welcome volunteers throughout the year in a variety of roles, including:

  • Meals on Wheels/Home Delivered Meal Program Support
  • Adult Day Program Assistance
  • Fundraising Event Support
  • Administrative Tasks

Your time, kindness, and presence help ensure that older adults in our community can continue to live with dignity, connection, and purpose. If youโ€™re unable to volunteer right now, you can still be part of our mission through a donation or sponsorshipโ€”every contribution helps sustain these vital programs.

Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities

Meals on Wheels/Home Delivered Meal Program Support

Senior Concernsโ€™ Meals on Wheels/Home Delivered Meals programs helps older adults remain healthy, independent, and connected by delivering fresh, nutritious meals directly to their homes. Along with a meal, our volunteers bring something just as importantโ€”friendly conversation, consistency, and care.

In addition to meal delivery, volunteers often deliver holiday treats and small surprises, important updates, and meaningful moments that brighten each day.

Volunteer Opportunities: Meal Delivery Drivers

  • Must have a valid California Driverโ€™s License and a clean driving record
  • Delivery days vary based on program needs
  • Most drivers begin as substitutes before taking on a regular weekly route
  • Routes typically take 1โ€“2 hours
  • Substitute drivers choose days that fit their availability and are asked to help 2โ€“3 times per month
  • Responsibilities include safe meal delivery and friendly check-ins with clients
