FunSeekers, A safe non-judgmental environment for people with mild cognitive impairment or those with no memory impairment but have physical limitations. Activities include cognitively stimulating word games, discussion groups, educational programs, entertainment, intergenerational programs, crafts and exercise are offered daily.
Fitzgerald Program is a nurturing environment for people needing a moderate level of care while providing social interaction, physical and mental stimulation. Activities include arts and crafts, reminiscence groups, pet therapy, exercise and intergenerational activities.
Friendship Program in the Catlin Wing, is for seniors in need of a greater level of care and supervision due to more advanced memory or physical impairment. Activities include sensory stimulation; one on one staff interaction; eye-hand coordination exercises, pet therapy and intergenerational visits.
Days of attendance and placement in the appropriate program will be discussed during the initial assessment by the Program Director.
- Transportation to and from the center may be provided by the participant’s family or through Dial-a-Ride program.
- Meals include a light healthy continental breakfast for those participants arriving early,a nutritious hot lunch and afternoon snacks.
Senior Concerns Adult Day Program (SCADP):
Program Hours: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Extended Care is avalable: 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM.
Part-Time Hours Available: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Days: Monday through Friday, and two Saturdays per month.
Participants' attendance schedules are customized to meet their individual needs.
Cost: $65 per day for the 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM program. $48 per day for the part-time program. The extended program is an additional charge of $11 for 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM, and an additional $16 for the 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM program. (The participant must be enrolled in our 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM program in order to take part in extended care.) Our programs include lunch and an AM and PM snack. Our nutritionally balanced meals are planned by a Registered Dietician, and supplemented by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. A scholarship application is available upon request. With documented proof of need, no senior is ever turned away because of inablility to pay.
