  • Senior Concerns' Virtual Dealing with Dementia Workshop was developed by the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving (RCI) Caregivers who attend this four-hour online workshop will receive a copy of the Dealing with Dementia Guide. DATES: February 17, 2022 AND February 18, 2022 TIME:    2:30 pm to 4:30 pm each day FEE:  $50.00 per person which includes books & materials FOCUS OF WORKSHOP:
    • Gain a better understanding of Dementia
    • Utilize strategies to effectively manage dementia behaviors
    • Develop habits of stress management & self care
    FACILITATED BY:   Martha Shapiro, LCSW and Elsa Fraire, Senior Advocate Advance registration is required.  For questions call (805) 497-0189. Zoom link will be sent by email prior to event. Dealing with Dementia Guide can be picked up at Senior Concerns (401 Hodencamp Road, Thousand Oaks, CA) or delivered prior to workshop upon payment receipt.  Certificate of Completion will be emailed to participants following the workshop.
