One of Senior Concerns’ biggest nights of the year is coming up, and the older-adult support nonprofit is sharing it with the community.
Now in its 38th year, the Ultimate Dining Experience is one of only a handful of fundraisers Senior Concerns hosts annually to support the organizations’ mission of providing programs and services that support and improve the health, well-being and quality of life for seniors and their caregivers, as it has done since 1975.
Some of those programs include the Conejo Valley’s Meals On Wheels, adult day care, seminars, assisted living consultation and more. See a full list at seniorconcerns.org.
With a theme this year of “The Greatest Gala,” the dining experience event will begin with food and beverage tastings under a big top along with a silent auction.
Afterwards, there will be a threecourse seated gourmet dinner and a live auction. Organizers encourage big-top glam fashion with sequins, feathers, top hats or anything else worthy of the likes of P.T. Barnum and friends.
Tickets to the 5 p. m. Sat., March 14 event are $275 per person, $525 per couple or $2,585 for a table of 10. Advance reservations, which can be made via seniorconcerns.org, are required by Feb. 27.
Questions about the event or tickets can be addressed to Julie Harvey, Senior Concerns’ director of development at jharvey@seniorconcerns.org or (805) 497-0189.
