I was fortunate to be invited to attend the Engaging the Aging consortium in Camarillo last Friday.  I was impressed by the like-minded people in attendance who want to age well and make a positive difference.  The day was all about possibilities and what we could accomplish by working together and not getting bogged down with rules currently in place or financing.  At the end of the day, all 47 of us were tasked with identifying two things we could do, that could be accomplished, that could make a positive difference.   The intergenerational idea mentioned at the end of the article was one of mine.  ~ Brenda Birdwell, Program Development Coordinator
