Celebrating its 50th anniversary, Senior Concerns has become a trusted resource, serving approximately 13,000 seniors annually through essential programs such as Meals on Wheels, which delivers over 65,000 meals to homebound seniors, and an adult day center that provides over 20,000 hours of care.
During the meeting, representatives emphasized the organization’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and their caregivers. They noted that Senior Concerns not only addresses the needs of older adults but also supports the caregivers who assist them, offering resources on topics ranging from housing rights to dementia education. The organization relies heavily on the dedication of over 440 volunteers who contribute more than 10,700 hours each year, alongside generous community donations.
