CarolAppointmentAs I settle into this new role as President of Senior Concerns, I am excited about the future ahead, not only for me personally, but also and most importantly the future of Senior Concerns. As a longtime community supporter and
former Board Member I am honored to be trusted with this leadership.

Thirty-two years ago a few community leaders saw a need and met it by starting Senior Concerns with our first program, Meals on Wheels. Today Senior Concerns continues to identify needs and meets them as you will see from the articles in this newsletter. During the next decade the Baby Boomer generation, the most populous in history, will retire. Some will start second careers, some will volunteer or
just spend glorious time at play. Some unfortunately will become frail and have special needs. With the vision of our founders, Senior Concerns will
continue its mission to meet those needs and as always without reference to
the ability to pay. I look forward to our exciting future!
