Ladin Subaru in Thousand Oaks has donated $7,000 to Senior Concerns to help support the organization’s Meals On Wheels program.
The grant, part of Subaru’s national Share the Love Campaign, will provide about 750 freshly prepared, nutritionally balanced meals for homebound seniors in T.O. and Newbury Park.

During the November campaign, Subaru customers had the opportunity to select a charity to which a donation of $250 from every vehicle sale would be donated. Along with a select group of national charities, local Subaru dealers choose one community-based nonprofit to support.
Senior Concerns’ delivers Meals On Wheels 364 days a year. Daily delivery of two meals costs $9.45 and one meal is $6.
Senior Concerns has a long-standing policy of never denying services, regardless of the ability to pay. Thus, grant funds, donations and proceeds from the annual Love Run enable Senior Concerns to provide full or partial scholarships to those unable to afford the Meals On Wheels program.
