UberWAV connects riders with vehicles that are equipped with ramps or lifts.

Both services are available to riders in Ventura County through the Uber app, which can be downloaded for free from the iTunes store or Google Play.

With Uber, a senior or family caregiver can push a button on a smartphone to request a ride that arrives within minutes. Riders can use Uber to go to doctor’s appointments, run errands or get to the airport.

The seminar will address how the services work, how to access them using an app and what the fees are. Light refreshments will be served.

Reservations are requested and can be made by calling (805) 497-0189.
