Monte Vista Presbyterian Church will host a seminar titled “Aging in America” at 9 a.m. Sat., Feb. 4 at the church, 3797 W. Lynn Road, Newbury Park.
Doors will open and refreshments will be served at 8:30 a.m.
The speakers are Brenda Birdwell of Thousand Oaks Senior Concerns, Elizabeth Renteria of Ventura County Area Agency on Aging, and Annabel Blanchard, an attorney speaking on medical directives.
The event is designed to support the aged and aging as well as their caregivers through education about aging and the support services available to them.
There is no charge for the event and the public is welcome.
