The Board of Directors of Senior Concerns is pleased to announce the appointment of Lori Litel, MSW, as the President of Senior Concerns.  With twenty years of non-profit executive management and a high level of visionary leadership, the Board is confident that Ms. Litel will lead Senior Concerns into the future with enthusiasm and success.

Dedicating her career to making life better for seniors, Ms. Litel was the Executive Director of a major multipurpose senior center in the San Fernando Valley.  While there, she was part of creating award-winning intergenerational programs for seniors, overseeing all senior programs and services including adult day programs, nutrition programs and community outreach to the benefit of seniors.  She also realized a long time “dream” of a brand new, $12 million dollar state-of-the art facility for seniors.

Ms. Litel is certain her professional experiences and personal commitment will guide her as she assumes her new role as President of Senior Concerns.    “I strongly believe in treating seniors with dignity and respect at all times, and have been a passionate advocate, particularly for the needs of the most frail and vulnerable seniors.”  Her experiences are enhanced by her education, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Masters in Social Work, both from Boston College.  She is also the recipient of multiple awards for her community involvement and public service.

Ms. Litel will join Senior Concerns on Monday, May 9th.  Please join us in welcoming her to Senior Concerns as we continue our 35 year history of “Life with Dignity for aging seniors.”
