Senior Concerns, as part of its commitment to provide support for family caregivers of aging loved ones, will present a community seminar titled “Legal Information for Elders” on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Senior Concerns, 401 Hodencamp Road, Thousand Oaks.

This seminar will be presented by Mike Williams from Grey Law. Grey Law is a non-profit legal services organization that has been established to provide the highest quality legal information and advice for seniors in Ventura County. Grey Law assists individuals and non-profit groups that otherwise have limited access to legal services. Grey Law’s goal is to help clients resolve their legal problems, and to help them preserve their independence, hope, and dignity.

The seminar will help seniors and family caregivers understand important legal documents such as Advance Health Care Directive, Caregiver Affidavit, Power of Attorney and Will. Each attendee will receive free legal information, a “LIFE” binder, and instruction on how to fill out simple legal forms.
