Senior Concerns, as part of its commitment to provide support and education for seniors and family caregivers, will present a virtual seminar titled “How to Protect Yourself and Your Loved Ones from Scams and Fraud.” The seminar will be held via Zoom from 3:00-4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

The seminar, presented by Kellie Tyndall, a Senior Victim Advocate with the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office, will provide valuable information on Ventura County’s Crime Victims’ Assistance Unit and how to get help if needed, how to be safe on the Internet, phone and social media, how to keep your ATM card safe, and how to protect yourself from fraud, scams and theft.

Kellie Tyndall is a Senior Victim Advocate at the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office and a member of Ventura FAST (Financial Abuse Specialist Team). Kellie collaborates with other groups and agencies to educate the public, families, and providers about exploitation and fraud against our senior population and vulnerable adults with disabilities.
