Senior Concerns has been recognized as one of the top regional philanthropies worth knowing in C-Suite Quarterly (CSQ) Magazine’s Fall 2013 Philanthropy Issue. Only 100 nonprofits from throughout Los Angeles and Ventura counties were recognized. Senior Concerns is listed as one of the top “Social Causes” in the community. “We are absolutely thrilled with this recognition,” said Andrea Gallagher, President of Senior Concerns. “Senior Concerns is the only organization in the community that provides a broad range of programs and services aimed at helping seniors and their family caregivers. We’ve been doing this since 1975. To be recognized on a regional scale means a great deal not only to all us here, it means the world to the community we serve. We are truly grateful to be among those featured in CSQ Magazine.” In putting together its list of Top 100 Regional Philanthropies, CSQ Magazine considered factors such as regional significance, leadership, fundraising efforts, reputation, and mission.
