Are you looking for a way to give back, help enhance the lives of seniors and family caregivers, and have fun doing it? If so, Senior Concerns needs you! Our more than 500 volunteers are truly the lifeblood of Senior Concerns!

We offer a variety of ways in which you can volunteer with Senior Concerns. Our Adult Day Program needs volunteers to help with arts and crafts, decorating, leading discussions, gardening, doing magic, providing musical performances, or offering pet therapy. Meals On Wheels volunteer drivers help make the program run, delivering meals 364 days per year to homebound seniors in Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park. The Meals On Wheels driver is often the only person a homebound senior will see, so as a volunteer with this program you are having a huge impact on seniors’ lives.

If you love retail, consider volunteering at our Bargain Boutique and Thrift Store. We need to volunteers to help sort merchandise, organize and create displays, and assist customers. The Bargain Boutique is almost entirely run by our team of volunteers.

In addition, Senior Concerns holds two major fundraising events a year, the Love Run and Ultimate Dining Experience. Both of these events could not happen without our dedicated volunteers. Help at the Love Run by stuffing goody bags, or staffing an aid or water station on the course (and cheer on the runners). Ultimate Dining volunteers help secure auction items, staff event registration and check out tables, and guide guests throughout the evening.
