Senior Concerns has expanded its caregiver educational series to include a variety of programs on the concerns faced by family/ unpaid caregivers. All programs are offered free of charge and will run from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Senior Concerns, 401 Hodencamp Road, Thousand Oaks. Miller will present how grandparents can provide the best possible care for their grandchildren while still preserving their own health and well-being. Caring for a Loved One with Traumatic Brain Injury with Denise Buttrey of Brain Injury Center of Ventura County on Tues., Sept. 24. Traumatic brain injury is a blow or jolt to the head or a penetrating head injury that disrupts the function of the brain.
