The Senior Concerns Board of Directors, led by Vice Chair for Strategic Planning Ann Eklund, embarked on a major effort to review the status of the organization and establish goals and strategies for the future. These are hard economic times for business and non profit organizations. The Board wanted to ensure that programs offered by Senior Concerns were still of value to those we serve and assess what else we should or could be doing while at the same time being good financial stewards. The good news is that our programs are critical to the well being of seniors and future direction will expand them into other neighboring communities. And the even better news is our programs went far beyond our mission statement. So after much discussion to find the right words the mission and vision statements were revised to reflect our service to the entire community.

To provide program and services for the aging senior, families, caregivers and the community which support and improve their quality of life.
